Hyattsville resident Joiker Avila-Avila is facing murder and other charges in connection to the death of Sandeep Gupta, 54, in the Town of Berwyn Heights. Cold CASE: Police Investigate Bucks County 4-Year-Old's Death Authorities are looking for answers in the Buckingham Township death of Michael Allen Daum.  Daum, 4, was found dead on the front lawn of a neighbor's Route 413 home on June 26, 1972.  Pennsylvania State Police say he had facial injuries when discovered. His official cause of death was ruled "asphyxiation associated with aspirated vomitus." Anyone with information is asked to call PSP's Troop M at 610-861-2026.

Lehigh Man Dies After Being Pinned Under Car: Coroner A Lehigh County man has died after becoming pinned under his car, authorities say.  Ariel Fernandez-Fernandez, 36, of Whitehall Township, was working on a vehicle in the garage at his home sometime before noon on Sunday, Dec. 18 when the car slipped off the jacks, said county Coroner Daniel A. Buglio in a statement.  Fernandez-Fernandez was trapped under the car's rear axle and asphyxiated to death, the coroner said.  The incident was also investigated by Whitehall police, he added.

According to Nassau County Police detectives, officers responded to the home in South Farmingdale on 1st Avenue on a report of a female not breathing on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15.
