A 41-year-old Hunterdon County man drove while intoxicated twice in one day, authorities said.
At 8:47 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, officers responded to a hit and run crash on Mount Grove Road in Clinton Township, Clinton Township Police. Brian Kelemen, the driver of the striking vehicle was located near a school after dropping off his child, police said.

Klaus Meckeler, a gastroenterologist from Somerset County, brought the property at 99 Ocean E. — about a quarter mile off the coast of Marathon, FL — for $25,000, as reported by Tom Avril, of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Born in Germany, Meckeler immigrated to the U.S. in 1958, lived in Far Hills before he moved to Annandale in 1998, 10 years before he died, his obituary says.

NJ Man Stole Nearly $57K From Hackettstown Livestock Auction, Prosecutor Says
A New Jersey man was charged after stealing nearly $57,000 from Hackettstown Livestock Auction Cooperative, authorities said.
Howard Hoffman, 66, of Annandale, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and filing a false tax return on Wednesday, according to the Warren County Prosector's Office.
The prosecutor's office launched an investigation after cooperative members told them that they were missing approximately $57,000 in cash payments due from customers for livestock purchased at auction between 2016 and 2017.

The community is rallying for the son of Washington mom Erin Van Note, who died on Oct. 11 in Pennsylvania (scroll down to donate).
Born in Livingston, Erin graduated from Warren hills High School in 2006, her obituary says.
"Erin was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, singing, music, and poetry and being with her family," her obituary says.
