For one New York woman, the grass just got a lot greener.
Long Island resident Barbara Filion, of the hamlet of Albertson in Nassau County, claimed her $1,000,000 Powerball second prize from a drawing on October 22, 2022, the New York Lottery announced.
Fillion correctly matched the first five of the winning numbers, which were 19-25-48-55-60 and Powerball 18.
According to lottery officials, the lucky winner received a single lump sum payment totaling $651,000 after required withholdings.

Covid-19: Long Island Sees Slight Uptick In Cases, Here's Breakdown By Towns
Long Island has seen a slight uptick in positive COVID-19 cases though statewide numbers continue trending in the right direction.
There have now been 44,924 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nassau, and 45,006 in Suffolk as each county saw less than 100 new cases in the latest numbers provided by the state Department of Health.
There have been 2,198 COVID-19 fatalities in Nassau and 2,005 in Suffolk.
On Long Island, the positive infection rate over the past three days:
Monday, Aug. 31: 1.0 percent;
Tuesday, Sept. 1: 0.8 percent;
Wednesday, Sept. 2: 1.1 percent.

Trio Nabbed For Stealing Car From Garage Of Long Island Home
Three suspects were busted on Long Island after allegedly stealing a car out of a garage.
The Nassau County Police Department received a report of a stranger entering a garage on Oak Ridge Lane in Albertson shortly after 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, prompting an investigation.
Police said that investigators later located the vehicle on Taylor Avenue in Westbury, and proceeded to see three men enter it.
