One Dead, One Injured In Union Township 2-Alarm Fire: FD
A woman was killed in a two-alarm house fire in Union Township on Wednesday, Feb. 14, authorities said.
At 5:29 p.m., firefighters responded to 1120 Weber St. for a house fire, Union Township Fire Chief Greg Ricciardi said. While responding, firefighters were alerted to an elderly woman trapped inside the residence, Ricciardi said. Another occupant managed to escape and was on the front lawn, Ricciardi said.

Annapolis Woman Dies After Being Flown To Hospital From House Fire
A woman who was airlifted to the hospital after her Annapolis home caught on fire died over the weekend, fire officials said.
Danielle Neal, 63, was pulled from her Annapolis home at 2632 Compass Drive, after 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.
Neal was taken to a local hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries, officials said. She died from her injuries that Saturday, April 30.

ID Released For Man Killed In Western Massachusetts Fire
Investigators in Massachusetts have released the name of a 58-year-old man who was killed in a house fire.
John Hebert was killed during the fire in Hampshire County, in Town of Ware, that broke out in his basement on Friday, March 19, officials said, noting that the fire at the single-family Palmer Road home was accidental.
Fire crews responded to the residence shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Friday, and were able to quickly knock down the flames. Hebert was found inside the home, treated by paramedics, and later pronounced dead, officials said.

86 People, 10 Families Displaced In Two-Alarm Westchester Apartment Fire
Ten families were displaced, including 48 adults and 38 children, during a two-alarm fire in Westchester County.
The fire started shortly before 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, at 149 North Boardway, in Yonkers, said Yonkers Fire Department Assistant Chief Thomas F. Fitzpatrick Jr.
Fitzpatrick said firefighters quickly arrived on the scene and found heavy fire on the top floor of a 5-story apartment building, Fitzpatrick said.
Companies quickly stretched hose lines and began suppression efforts, he said.
