Nolan Luria, a Chatham resident, is on the long road to recovery after he was struck by a falling tree, according to a GoFundMe set up to support him.
On Friday, June 5, Luria was on an annual family friends and camping trip in the Delaware River, he was struck by a falling tree during a storm, fracturing his right femur in two places, shattering his right heel, and breaking his left ankle.

More than $17,000 has been raised for the family of a 47-year-old HVAC worker and father of three killed in a fall from a cherry-picker crane on Friday, Sept. 6 in West Philadelphia.
The oldest of three brothers on the crane, Tuan Vuong, died en route to the hospital, according to a GoFundMe campaign.

Support is on the rise for a Virginia and Maryland firefighter who was in a crash on his way to work.
Christian Bomgardner was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries in the crash on Monday, March 25, John Wright, President-Emeritus of the Frederick County, Virginia Professional Fire Fighters IAFF Local 4145, said on a GoFundMe.
