A 71-year-old Connecticut man who was hit by a car while crossing the street on Friday morning, June 26, is fighting for his life, officials said. The crash happened around 6:52 a.m. near the intersection of Water Street and John Street in Bridgeport. A 29-year-old man was driving a Honda Civic north on Water Street when the vehicle passed through the intersection and struck the pedestrian, police said. : Man Found Unresponsive In Pool Pronounced Dead In Central PA
A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend, authorities said. The unidentified man was found in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m., Gay said. An autopsy at Lehigh Valley Hospital is scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 4.

Man Hit, Killed By SUV At Long Island Intersection
A 71-year-old man was killed after being hit by an SUV at a Long Island intersection. The incident took place around 5:55 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28 at an intersection in New Hyde Park, said the Nassau County Police.
