17-Year-Old Killed In Dirt Bike Crash At Hurley Intersection, Police Say A 17-year-old was killed in a dirt bike crash in the Hudson Valley, and an 18-year-old was seriously injured, state police said. The 18-year-old was driving the bike through Hurley with the 17-year-old on the back on Friday evening, Oct. 23, New York State Police announced Tuesday, Oct. 27. While the duo was traveling west on Main Street around 6:30 p.m., the driver tried to pass a 2015 Hyundai, investigators said. 18-Year-Old Expected To Survive After Totaling Car In Holland Crash: Police An 18-year-old is expected to survive after destroying their car in a crash this weekend in Central Massachusetts, authorities said.  The driver was thrown from the vehicle after crashing near 90 Sturbridge Road in Holland around 11:17 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, Holland Police said on Facebook.  The 18-year-old was flown to a Worcester hospital for treatment. Amazingly, they only sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.  No other cars were involved and no other injuries were reported. The driver was also the only person inside the car.  The crash is under investigation.

18-Year-Old Shot Walking Down Street In Hudson Valley, Police Say Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was shot in the leg while walking down a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County just after 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 in the hamlet of Hillcrest. According to Det. Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, the man was walking on Slinn Avenue in Hillcrest when he was shot. He was treated at Westchester Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, Franklin said.
