Woman ID'd In Lehigh After New Year's Day Harrisburg House Fire A 65-year-old woman has been identified by the Lehigh County Coroner following a New Year's Day house fire in Harrisburg. Brenda L. Cuff of Harrisburg was pronounced dead in the Lehigh Valley Burn Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 02, 2024, coroner Daniel  Buglio detailed in the release.  Her cause of death was listed as "complications of 50-60% full thickness burns due to house fire." Woman Steals Ambulance, Leading Chase Across York City: Police A 53-year-old woman led authorities on a short chase through York City in an ambulance she is accused of stealing, police said.   Barbara Smitha York City resident, allegedly took the UPMC LifeTeam EMS ambulance while its crew was at a call in the 200 block of North Duke Street around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
