Manor Township police were called to a crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Seitz and Manor Church roads at 7:22 p.m., according to a release by the department. Police officers "render aid to the motorcycle rider until Blue Rock FD and EMS arrived," as stated in the release. "Unfortunately, the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene," police say. Albert Cheeks, 47, of Randallstown, Maryland was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Route 30 near the Marietta Avenue overpass around 1 p.m. when he rear-ended an 80-year-old Lancaster woman's car, according to East Hempfield police. The impact left Cheeks with serious injuries, police said. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. York County Man, 31, Dies In Crash On Rt. 30 In Lancaster A Windsor Township man died in a crash along Route 30 in Lancaster on Sunday, say East Hempfield Police. Albert Gilbert Meier Acosta, 31, was travelling Westbound on Route 30 in Lancaster near Rohrerstown Road in a Mini Cooper when he struck a disabled Chrysler 300 parked along the shoulder, according to police. Police arrived on the scene of the crash at approximately 9:26 p.m. The impact of the Cooper into the Chrysler caused the Chrysler to catch fire.
