Ray Keith Weir, 50, of Ephrata has been identified as the person driving a black Volkswagen Jetta which left the eastbound lanes on Route 487 and entered the opposing lane of traffic near the Route 54 intersection around 4:15 p.m. in Elysburg, Rapho Township police say and the Northumberland County Coroner's office confirms. Bloomsburg Student Calls 911 In Icy Fall That Killed 'Soulmate' A Bloomsburg University student from York County died when he and his girlfriend fell down an icy cliff on Feb. 4, 2022, authorities said.  Kyra DeStefano of Lansdale called 911 from where she became stranded on partway down the cliff off of Sharp Ridge Road in Mayberry Township around 3:05 p.m., the Montour County Coroner's Office said. Authorities ID 3 NJ Men Killed In PA Crash One was a comedian. Another an actor. And the third an engineer with a passion for singing. All three were New Jersey residents who died in a Pennsylvania crash over the weekend. Nicholas Nissen, 24, of South Amboy, and Joseph Riggio, 30, of Parlin, were pronounced dead at the scene, Carbon County Coroner Robert W. Miller Jr. told Lehigh Valley Live. Bucks County Teen Dies In Post Prom Crash A Central Bucks High School East student died in a crash that occurred in the hours following the school's senior prom Saturday, authorities said. Nicholas Mannino, 18, of Pipersville, was riding in a car that lost control and overturned then struck several trees on a rural Pike County road around 1:20 a.m., the Bucks Courrier Times reports. Mannino was rushed to Geisinger Medical Center in Scranton, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 4 a.m., the outlet said citing Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.
