Pedestrian Struck Dead Leaving Sheetz In West Manchester Township, Authorities Say A man was struck dead crossing a road in York County on Monday evening, authorities announced.  The unidentified 58-year-old was hit by a 2001 Dodge Caravan driven by a 69-year-old Dillsburg man heading north in the far right lane of Carlisle Road near York Crossing Drive, West Manchester Police explained in a release on Tuesday.  The man was walking from Sheetz diagonally, not in a crosswalk, when he was struck around 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 4, according to the York County Coroner's Office report.  His time of death was 10:10 p.m. as certified by Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewell. …
