Man Beaten Until Seizure, Wanted PA Felon Caught In Pursuit, Police Say A convict has been arrested after he was seen beating another man until he began to have a seizure in a public park, Lancaster City Police announced on Friday, June 7.  Michael Shaquin Roane, 33 of Columbia Borough, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Simple Assault and Flight on Foot, the police said and court records confirmed.  The police were called to a report of an assault that ended when a man began having a seizure in Culliton Park around 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, according to the bureau's release.  The Bureau released the following statement about the situat…

Manheim PD: Woman Who Bolted From Crash Scene Denied Driving, Gave Bogus ID A Lancaster woman was arrested by Manheim Township Police after she allegedly stole a vehicle and crashed it before fleeing. On March 28, Kiara Mealing, 22 was spotted running from the scene of a car crash involving a stolen vehicle, police say. Mealing denied driving the vehicle and gave authorities a fake name and date of birth to police who responded to the call. After investigating, police determined that Mealing did crash the car and used it without permission from the owner. She faces charges including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and false identification to law enforcement. …
