Albert Cheeks, 47, of Randallstown, Maryland was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Route 30 near the Marietta Avenue overpass around 1 p.m. when he rear-ended an 80-year-old Lancaster woman's car, according to East Hempfield police. York County Man, 31, Dies In Crash On Rt. 30 In Lancaster A Windsor Township man died in a crash along Route 30 in Lancaster on Sunday, say East Hempfield Police. Albert Gilbert Meier Acosta, 31, was travelling Westbound on Route 30 in Lancaster near Rohrerstown Road in a Mini Cooper when he struck a disabled Chrysler 300 parked along the shoulder, according to police. Police arrived on the scene of the crash at approximately 9:26 p.m. The impact of the Cooper into the Chrysler caused the Chrysler to catch fire.
