Antonio “Espn” Yarger Jr, 7, of Erie, was shot in the head-on while on the sidewalk near his home at the corner of Downing Avenue and Fairmount Parkway, Erie police said on Friday. York City Police were called to investigate a shooting in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue just before 4 p.m. on Mar. 8, they said in a release. A child was shot "by an unknown suspect while standing in the area of the alley to the rear of the (avenue)," police say. The boy was shot in the leg in the 400 block of Union Street around 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 11, according to Columbia Borough police. He was transported to an area hospital by ambulance and his injury is not life-threatening, police report. The police have released the video below of the suspects in this shooting.
