Another sell-or-be-banned TikTok legislation is working its way up to the Senate. The House passed the sell-or-be-banned bill for the app (360-58) on Saturday, April 20 as part of a larger foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, giving Chinese TikTok owner ByteDance up to a year to sell the app. Otherwise, TikTok will be subject to a nationwide ban. Suspect Critical After Being Shot By AG Agent At Pittsburgh Greyhound Station: Reports
A knife-wielding man was in critical condition after being shot by an agent with the Attorney General's Office Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, at the Greyhound station in Pittsburgh, multiple outlets are reporting. It began just before 7 a.m. when the agent noticed the man coming off of the bus arriving at the station threatening another with a knife, CBS News reports. Roe V. Wade has officially been overturned by the Supreme Court, eradicating 50 years of American women's rights to abortion. The Supreme Court's decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization made Friday, June 24, upheld a Mississippi law that banned abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. A former Amtrak engineer has been cleared in a deadly train derailment in Philadelphia in 2015. Brandon Bostian's train was going 106 mph — more than double the speed limit on the tracks — on an S-curve when he slammed on the brakes in Frankford Junction in May 2015. The train, headed to Washington D.C. from New York City, jumped the tracks, killing eight people and sending 185 to the hospital. A volunteer lacrosse coach who last month punched a North Penn High School player during a game has been charged with harassment.
