Man Ejected, Killed In Central PA Crash: Coroner

A man died in a central Pennsylvania car crash on Tuesday night, according to the York County coroner's office.

The man lost control of his vehicle while he was traveling westbound along the 490 block of East Market Street in Hellam Borough, York County, according to a release by the coroner's office.

He struck a parked vehicle and then a pole-- flipping his vehicle onto its roof and ejecting him in the process, around 7:15 p.m., according to the release.

He was transported to WellSpan York Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:17 p.m., according to the release.

No autopsy will be performed but a routine toxicology test was performed, according to the coroner's office.

His name will be released after his next of kin have been notified.
