Freight Train Hits Cement Truck In Southeast Pennsylvania The SEPTA West Trenton Line was shut down early Thursday morning, Sept. 21 after a CSX freight train collided with a cement truck at a railroad crossing in Middletown, authorities say.  The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Township Line and Big Oak roads, said Middletown police.  No injuries were reported and no hazardous materials were released, the department said, though some diesel fuel and drywall dust spilled along the tracks.  Some brush fires near the tracks were reported at the time of the crash, a CSX spokesperson told Dail Voice.  SEPTA…

Car Struck By SEPTA Train In Bucks County: Police A driver escaped serious injuries after his car was struck by a SEPTA train in Bucks County, authorities said. It was unclear as to why the 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by a 59-year-old Perkasie man ended up on the tracks at Schoolhouse Road and Railroad Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, according to New Britain Township police and a SEPTA spokesperson.
