Victim Found Shot In Head In Idling Car: Philadelphia Police A man was found sitting in his car on a Center City street with a gunshot wound to the head late on Monday night, Sept. 25, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice.  The victim was found in a blue Toyota Prius on the 500 block of South 17th Street around 11:40 p.m., the department said. He had also been shot in the right shoulder.  He was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital where he remains in critical condition, according to police. Driver Sought In Deadly Northeast Philly Hit-Run A 42-year-old man is dead following a hit-and-run in Rhawnhurst, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice.  The fatal crash happened on the 7600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard just after midnight on Monday, Sept. 18, authorities said.  The victim was found unresponsive in the northbound middle lane and pronounced dead at the scene, they added. Police did not report his name.  The suspect vehicle is described as a Toyota Prius between model years 2010 and 2015, based on parts recovered from the scene.  The crash remains under investigation, PPD said.
