Pennsylvania State Trooper Killed Teacher In Fiery Crash, AG Alleges A Pennsylvania State Police trooper allegedly struck a teacher dead doing an illegal pass on his way home from work, according to Attorney General Michelle Henry. Michael J. Brown, 35, of Troy slammed into 47-year-old Christine "Chris" Elizabeth Woodward while attempting an illegal pass over double yellow lines on Route 6 on Feb. 11, 2023, according to the AG.  An investigation revealed that Brown was heading west in a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Sullivan Township on his way home from work at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Tioga County when the crash happened, the AG explained. She was 28 years old. Finlayson, of Whitehall, graduated from Emmaus High School and received a degree in mathematics from Lebanon Valley College, her obituary says.
