So his adoptive name makes perfect sense. Officers from Irvington found the dog they named Lucky so severely injured that a leg had to be amputated. NJ High School Junior, Varsity Lacrosse Goalie Alexea Karpinski Dies, 17 Hunterdon Central High School junior and varsity lacrosse goalie Alexea Karpinski died Nov. 21. She was 17. Born and raised in Raritan Township, Karpinski was known for her love of sports, particularly lacrosse. She played as goalie for the Hunterdon Central Red Devils as well as for the Triple Threat Elite Club Team, her obituary says. Karpinski had a goal of playing D1 lacrosse while pursuing an exercise science degree. She wanted to become a professional athletic trainer, her memorial says.
