Hospital Shares Montgomery County Firefighter's Cancer Battle
Working on the frontlines has shown Montgomery Township firefighter Robert Roy what cancer can do to a person. So when he was diagnosed with colon cancer in September 2019, he couldn't help but worry. After months of chemotherapy and other drug treatments, along with a surgical procedure last March, he's cancer free (and now enrolled in a study due to a cancer mutation that puts him at risk for others).
