A 30-year-old convicted felon — in his third prison in six months — is facing new charges after putting a corrections officer in a chokehold, the police announced on Tuesday, April 2. An Avondale man is accused of trying to bite and spit on Kennett Square police officers while they tried to take him to a hospital, the department said in a release. A man wanted for assaulting another person in Allentown over the summer has been arrested, authorities say. Micheal C.
