Gunman Approached Woman Before SEPTA Station Shooting, Police Say SEPTA Police are looking for the gunman who fired a shot during a struggle at a South Philadelphia station early on Monday, Sept. 25.  It happened at the Tasker-Morris stop around 6 a.m., transportation authorities told Daily Voice.  The suspect, seen in surveillance footage released by police, approached a woman from behind near the bicycle rack on the mezzanine level, authorities said.  He bumped into her and "a brief altercation ensued," during which the gunman fired a shot before fleeing on foot, police said.  No one was hurt.  Anyone with information on the …

Philly Gunman Firing At House Shot Child 'In The Buttocks,' Say Cops A gunman who blindly fired at the front door of a north Philadelphia home ended up "striking a juvenile in the buttocks," authorities say.  The unknown suspect was walking around the 2100 block of West York Street on Monday, Dec. 19, when he got into a "brief" verbal argument with a neighborhood resident, detectives said in a statement.  The gunman then approached the resident's house and fired several shots into the front door, hitting the youth, officials said. The extent of the child's injuries was not immediately clear.  Police are still searching for the gunman.
