UPDATE: David Edward Browne, 27, of Shippensburg, is in Pennsylvania State Police custody as of 10:46 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25. An inmate escaped police custody while going to a doctor's appointment, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Aug. 22. Joshua Allen Nicholl, 26, of Greencastle was "temporarily authorized" to go to the "outside doctor's appointment" from the Franklin County Jail on Aug. 9, according to the state police release. A 12-year-old girl in Chambersburg was raped multiple times starting around her birthday, according to Court Documents obtained by Daily Voice. A warrant has been issued for a woman serving probation for felon endangering the welfare of children but never returned for her work release job on Thursday, Dec. 8 authorities say. 27-year-old Kathleen Elizabeth Castro-Zavala of Chambersburg was released, only serving 28 days in prison, after being found guilty of a felony endangering welfare of children charge in 2020, court records detail.
