Luzerne County residents may have been duped by a fake cop, authorities warn. Paul Dolan of Scranton is accused of claiming to be a police officer during an interaction on Old Route 115 in Lehman on Dec. 13, township police said. A one-year-old boy was seriously hurt in a crash involving a hit-and-run involving a pedophile, authorities say. Robert Ray Ickes, 56, of Fannettsburg, fled the scene of a crash in the area 20800 block of Back Road in Fannett Township around 5:40 p.m. on August 9, according to a release by state police. A 30-year-old Norristown man was arrested on a slew of charges including DUI and homicide in a crash earlier this month that killed his passenger on the Dekalb Pike in Lower Gwynedd, authorities said. Police: Bucks Driver Facing Charges After Striking Pedestrian In Perkasie
A Bucks County driver is facing charges after she allegedly struck a pedestrian in Perkasie last summer, authorities said. Rebecca Carper, 48, was found to have been driving a car with a suspended license when she struck a pedestrian on South 9th Street on July 31, 2020, according to Perkasie police. The pedestrian was left with several injuries, police said. Following the investigation, a warrant was issued for Carper, but she failed to turn herself in to police, authorities said.
