Funeral Details Released For 13-Year-Old Cheerleader Na'Ryah Wright, Shot Dead In Pennsylvania Funeral details were released on Tuesday, Aug. 20, for a 13-year-old girl who was shot dead in Harrisburg. Na'Ryah (also known as Naryah) Raye Wright of Steelton was named as the victim of the shooting early Sunday morning, Aug. 11, the family confirmed to GoFundMe and Daily Voice previously reported.   The report of the shooting in the area of South 19th and Derry streets came into the police around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, but they never found a victim or a shooter.  Na'Ryah later arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. She "was rushed into surgery but later d…

Gabriella "Gabby" Velazquez, a rising sophomore at Allentown Central Catholic High School died on Thursday, July 11, according to her obituary on the Schantz Funeral Home website. Gabriella "Gabby" Velazquez, a rising sophomore at Allentown Central Catholic High School died suddenly, the school announced on Friday, July 12.  A cause of death was not provided. World Cup Easton, an area cheer squad, said Velazquez was "a vibrant, loud, positive light." "She always kept you smiling and laughing. If anything in this world made Gabby happy, it was cheerleading. Her dream was to compete at Worlds and last year, she achieved that goal." Services have not yet been finalized.
