Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Three Children Hospitalized In Philadelphia Three children were hospitalized after suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in Philadelphia over the weekend, police said. A 9-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy, and 4-year-old girl were taken to Jefferson-Torresdale for observation after high levels of carbon monoxide were detected at a home on the 4100 block of Stanwood Street Saturday, March 16, city police said. Police responded to a 9-1-1 call for a "priority person screaming," authorities said. An update on the children's condition was not immediately available.

Family Killed, Carbon Monoxide Possible Cause, Philadelphia Police Say A family of three is suspected to have been killed by carbon monoxide in Philadelphia, police said. Firefighters and police officers were called to perform a wellness check on the family in a home on the 4000 block of Ashburner Street at 12:53 p.m. on Feb. 15, according to a PPD. They found a 47-year-old mom, the 56-year-old dad, and their 12-year-old daughter unresponsive, city police detailed in the release. 2 Men Found Dead In South Jersey Garage With Running Car: Report Two men were found dead in a garage with the car running in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reports. The bodies of the 18- and- 50-year-old men were found by a Millville resident coming home from work inside of the garage at a home on the 2000 block of Wheaton Avenue (Route 555) around 2:45 a.m., the outlet said citing local police. The incident appears to be accidental, the outlet said, citing a Millville police spokesman. Police did not say if the men were residents of the home or if they died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
