Knife-Wielding Robber Sticks Up Lehigh Valley Gas Station: State Police A masked robber wielded a knife to steal almost $4,000 from a Lehigh Valley gas station early Wednesday, and state police are trying to find him.  The suspect waltzed into the Valero at 6007 West Main Boulevard in East Allen Township just before 6 a.m. on Jan. 11, produced a knife, and demanded cash from the teller, troopers wrote in a release.  The cashier handed over a bag of about $3,800 in cash before the robber fled toward Grouse Road on foot, authorities added.  Investigators described the suspect as a white man with long, blond hair. Who Stole 500-Pound Bronze Statue From Lehigh War Memorial? A 500-pound bronze statue of a bald eagle has gone missing from a war memorial at a Lehigh County park, authorities announced.  State police are investigating the theft from Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hanover Township, they said in a press release on Thursday, Oct. 27.  Officials say the theft occurred sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25 and 26.  Police are asking for the public's help in locating the statue.
