Pedestrian Injured In East Stroudsburg Hit-Run: Police

Pocono Township police are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian and then fled the scene on Saturday, Feb. 24.

It happened on Birchwood Road in East Stroudsburg near the former Birchwood Resort around 3 p.m., authorities said in a release. The victim was struck and injured by a gray SUV that fled toward Cherry Lane Road, according to police.

Area residents with home security systems are asked to check their cameras from 3 to 3:30 p.m. for any footage of the suspect vehicle.
