Nurse Tried Saving Motorcyclist Killed In Upper Merion Crash, Police Say
A motorcyclist died in a crash in Montgomery County Saturday evening, June 15, despite attempts from an on-scene nurse and EMTs to save them. The Kawasaki operator had gotten in a collision with a Hyundai Tucson around 7 p.m. on the 600 block of South Henderson Road before the motorcyclist hit a telephone pole, local police said. Upon arrival, emergency response personnel immediately began to provide medical care to the motorcyclist. A nurse was also on scene and assisted in providing care. 3-Year-Old Killed In Upper Merion Crash: Police
A 3-year-old child and woman died in an Upper Merion crash overnight, authorities said. The child was in a Toyota sedan heading east on Valley Forge Park Road and County Line Road that veered off the roadway and struck a tree around 1:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, Upper Merion police said. The front seat passenger, a woman, was found dead and a 3-year-old child had been removed from the vehicle by the driver. Two Cars Sought In Shooting Near Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia: Police
Police in Montgomery County are seeking the public's help in identifying two cars allegedly involved in a shooting near the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 27. Officers responding to the shooting were initially told it happened in the hospital's parking garage and ordered a lockdown around 9:40 p.m., Upper Merion Township police said. A 53-year-old man who was on parole when he ran away from a halfway house was sentenced to 78 months in prison, three years of supervised release and ordered to pay more than $6,700 in restitution for a spree of bank robberies in Southeaster Pennsylvania last year, federal authorities said.
