Berks Thieves Used Stolen Truck To Rip ATM From Ground, Troopers Say State police are investigating a theft from an ATM at a Berks County bank.  The three suspects drove a stolen truck to First Citizens Community Bank in Tulpehocken Township around 3 a.m. on May 6, troopers said in a release.  They pried open the top panel and bottom door of a drive-up ATM, fastened a tow hook and chain inside the door, then accelerated the truck forward to remove the ATM from its concrete base, police said.  Once it was on the ground, they removed the cash from the ATM, according to investigators. Deadly House Fire Under Investigation In Berks County One person was killed in a house fire in Tulpehocken Township late Tuesday night, Dec. 12, state police have announced.  Firefighters were called to a blaze with entrapment at a one-story home on the 100 block of Deck Road around 11:30 p.m., troopers said in a release.  A second alarm was requested and firefighters made their way inside, where they found a victim unresponsive on the first floor, authorities said. Berks Man Throws 4-Month-Old Child To Ground During Argument With GF, State Police Say A Berks County man has been charged with seriously injuring a 4-month-old baby who he threw to the ground during an argument with his girlfriend, State Police said. Troopers responded to the 7000 block of Lancaster Avenue in Tulpehocken Township around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Pennsylvania State Police said.
