Police Car 'Intentionally Struck' In Northeast Philadelphia: Authorities One officer was taken to the hospital after a driver "intentionally struck" a Philadelphia police car early Monday morning, June 10, officials say.  A Chevrolet Camaro hit the marked police car on the 3200 block of Friendship Street in Mayfair around 3:30 a.m., authorities said.  The police car sustained front-end damage and a broken front axle and had to be towed from the scene along with the Camaro, according to PPD. Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say.  A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition.  No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.
