Gunman Snuck Through Bathroom Window In Deadly Montco Apartment Shootout: DA One man is dead and another was airlifted to a Philadelphia hospital following an exchange of gunfire in a Lansdale apartment unit late Monday, April 17, authorities say. Police were called to the Walnut Arms Apartments around 11:10 p.m. for a reported shooting, District Attorney Kevin Steele said in a release.  They arrived to find 21-year-old Wesley Wayne Smith of Philadelphia dead on the floor, authorities said. Authorities ID Woman, 62, Killed In Montgomery County Fire A 62-year-old woman died Monday of injuries sustained in a two-alarm Montgomery County apartment fire over the weekend, officials said.  Joann Maletto, of Upper Gwynedd Township, was pronounced dead Monday morning by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office, Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Marshal Jeff Tomczak said.
