Passenger, 38, Killed After Being Thrown From Pickup On I-295 A 38-year-old woman from Philadelphia was killed after being ejected from a pickup in a crash on Interstate 295 in Gloucester County, authorities said. Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Thursday, Feb. 1 at about 6:58 p.m. on I-295 north in West Deptford. Based on a preliminary investigation, a Chevy pickup truck and Dodge passenger vehicle were traveling northbound on I-295, according to New Jersey State Police. Neare milepost 19.8, the Dodge collided with the rear of the Chevy. The Chevy ran off the road to the right, impacted the guardrail, and subsequently overturned. …

South Jersey Man Who Fatally Shot A Barber Who Gave Him A Ride Gets 45 Years Prison: Prosecutor A 40-year-old South Jersey man has been sentenced to 45 years in state prison in the fatal shooting of a barber who gave him a lift from a crash scene, authorities said. Jule Hannah of Bridgeton was found guilty in July of first-degree murder and weapons charges by a Cumberland County Jury, according to Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
