Yes, Again: Explosions Expected To Rattle South Jersey During Military Base's Weekend Training There's a downside to living near the state's largest military base. South Jersey residents should prepare for another rocket-filled weekend of military training, officials warn.  That training at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst begins with two days worth of “abundant noise” exercises from live weapons and cratering explosions starting Friday, NJ Advance Media reports. Another Wawa Store With Gas Pumps Opens In South Jersey If you don't have a Wawa close by, there are increasing odds of one opening near you soon. Replete with fuel stations, the newest Wawa convenience store opened Friday at 1465 Clements Bridge Road (County Road 544) in Deptford, Gloucester County. There are almost 270 Wawa stores in New Jersey with plans to open nearly a dozen more by the end of this year.  Other new Wawa stores set to open this fall will be in Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Monmouth and Morris counties.  To find a Wawa store coming soon near you, click here.

Tidal Flood Warning Issued For Jersey Shore, South Jersey: NWS Coastal flood warnings are in effect for the Jersey Shore and South Jersey, according to the National Weather Service. The warning from the NWS in Mount Holly/Philadelphia is in effect until 5 p.m. Monday. "The threat will lessen as we go through the new week," the NWS said on Facebook.  The currents causing inland flooding are exacerbated by 10 mph winds from the northeast.
