Macy's plans to close about 30 percent of its remaining stores over the next three years. Nearly 50K Massage Guns Sold Nationwide Recalled Due To Fire, Burn Hazards
Nearly 50,000 massage guns sold at major retailers across the country are being recalled due to more than a dozen reports of overheating and a burn injury. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced this week that Homedics is recalling tens of thousands of personal massagers that ca overheat while charging, leading to a report of fire or burn risk. In total, approximately 46,000 are being recalled in the US, and another 41,000 in Canada, according to federal officials. The knife-wielding attacker that left one Macy's employee dead and sent another to the hospital Monday morning was trying to rob the store, according to Philadelphia police. Two security guards were stabbed at the 1300 Market Street store around 11 a.m. on Dec. 4, Daily Voice reported previously. King Of Prussia Robbers Pulled Gun During Fight With Mall Security: Police
A pair of robbers made their escape from King of Prussia mall after pulling a firearm on mall security officers, said Upper Merion police. It happened on Friday, Nov. 10 around 5:40 pm., the department said in a release. The two thieves were followed out of Macy's by loss prevention after they were spotted walking away with over $600 in stolen merchandise, authorities said. Police are investigating a shooting that broke out at the King of Prussia Mall Friday night, Oct. 20. The victim said he was trying to sell sneakers in the lower level of the Blue Parking Garage outside of Macy’s and, while he was distracted, the suspect put a gun to the back of his head around 8 p.m., Upper Merion police said. A suspect wanted for raping a 55-year-old woman inside of the Center City Macy's store was arrested Wednesday, Philadelphia police said.
