Cause Of Death Revealed For Ephrata Man 'Trapped' By Conestoga River: Coroner A second Ephrata man has ended up dead in an area waterway in under a week. Allen "Ray" Nolt, was driving along Cabin Drive in West Earl Township when his vehicle became "trapped in the high waters" of the Conestoga River on Monday morning, Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber explained.  The "submerged" 73-year-old was rescued from his vehicle and taken to WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital's Emergency Department, where he was pronounced dead at 7:43 a.m., on Dec. 18, Bieber detailed. Man Crushed To Death By Bulldozer In Central PA ID'd By Coroner An 81-year-old man was crushed to death when a bulldozer rolled down a hill and landed on him, authorities say.  The Ephrata police had been called to a report of "a person run over by a bulldozer," in Ephrata on Monday, Oct. 17 at approximately 2 p.m. the department stated in a release later that night.
