Fairmount Park Murders: Victims Left Bar With Suspects Before Execution-Style Killings, PD Says Thurston Cooper and Krystina Chambers willingly left a North Philadelphia bar with the couple who would murder them just 20 minutes later, claim city police.  Cooper, 49, and Chambers, 38, were shot "execution-style" in Fairmount Park around 10 p.m. on Feb. 28, PPD said at a press conference Thursday, March 14.  Lamar Young, 52, and Dale Johnson, 56, are facing charges for the murders, authorities said.  Police believe all four were at Tellups Tavern, 1322 W. Lamar Young Charged With Fairmount Park Murders: PPD Authorities have charged 52-year-old Lamar Young with the double murder in Fairmount Park on Feb. 29, Philadelphia police say.  Young is in police custody on two counts of murder, criminal conspiracy, firearms charges, and related offenses, PPD said in a release.  Forty-nine-year-old Thurston Cooper and 38-year-old Krystina Chambers, both of Philadelphia, were found shot to death near 3800 Mount Pleasant Drive, police have said.  Investigators said the possible motive is still unknown.
