Kayaker Found Dead In Central PA Creek: Officials A 44-year-old kayaker was found dead in Swatara Creek, the Dauphin County Coroner's Office confirmed Friday morning.  The Lancaster man was kayaking with friends when "he appears to have had a medical event," on Thursday, June 13, according to the coroner's release.  A life jacket was reportedly on the boat but was not on the man when he was found shortly after 9 p.m., officials explained.  "The Coroner’s Office is now working to ensure that all family members are notified before releasing his name," Dauphin County Press Secretary Diane McNaughton said. Police Investigating North Philly Woman's Death Police Investigating North Philly Woman's Death
Police Investigating North Philly Woman's Death Authorities are investigating after a 46-year-old woman died in a North Philadelphia apartment on Tuesday afternoon, March 5.  It happened on the 700 block of West Annsbury Street near Hunting Park, city police said.  The victim's boyfriend found her unresponsive on the floor in a second-story bedroom around 2:10 p.m., according to officials. She was pronounced dead a half hour later, police said.  Her name was not reported by police and authorities said her cause of death is still under review.
