Philly Driver Arrested For Hit-Run That Killed Woman, Hurt 8-Year-Old
The driver accused of hitting a woman and child with his car in Center City Philadelphia then fleeing the scene is now in police custody, city authorities told Daily Voice.
Dominique Murphy, 37, of West Philadelphia, is charged with vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault by vehicle, and several realted counts, the department said.
Authorities believe Murphy was behind the wheel of the Jeep that struck a 38-year-old woman and an 8-year-old girl on Arch Street around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9.
