Deputy Director David Richardson died after a battle with pancreatic cancer over the last year, which his department said he fought with unending courage and humility. Richardson was a police officer in Bensalem Township for the past 24 years. He started as a patrol officer and was a member of the K9 unit for 13 years with his two K9 partners, Czar and Prince.  He was promoted to sergeant and was the supervisor for the K9 unit, Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division before being promoted to…

1 Hurt In Allentown Stabbing, Police Say One person was hurt in a stabbing in Allentown over the weekend, authorities said. Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of West Hamilton Street for a reported stabbing around 3 a.m. Sunday,  Allentown police said. They met with the victim at a local hospital, according to police. The unidentified victim was being treated for a non-life-threatening slash wound, police said. The incident remains under investigation. DA: US Marshals Find Deadly DelCo Stabbing Suspect Hiding In Basement Ceiling A man wanted in a deadly Delaware County stabbing was found by members of the US Marshals Task Force hiding in the basement ceiling of a property in Delaware, authorities announced. Sheriff Potter, 25, of Chester, was arrested in connection with the July 8 stabbing death of Kevin Canty, District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer announced Wednesday, July 28.
