No ID For Young Man Found Dead In Allentown Authorities in Lehigh County are working to identify a man in his 20s found dead on an Allentown alley in the early morning hours on Sunday, July 16.  The victim was discovered on the 600 block of Morris Street and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where doctors pronounced him dead around 2 a.m., said county Coroner Daniel A. 'Decomposed' Human Remains Found Near I-80 In Stroudsburg, Police Say Authorities in Monroe County are investigating after badly decomposed human remains were found off a highway in Stroudsburg on Thursday, April 27.  A Stroudsburg Borough employee made the discovery in a wooded area near the Park Avenue/I-80 East on-ramp at about 11:20 a.m., Stroud Area Regional Police announced in a release.  Officers and detectives were called to the scene, but the remains were so extensively decomposed that investigators could not identify the gender of the victim, according to the release.  The remains have been removed from the woods and turned over…

Dental Records Identify Fatal Berks Fire Victim Officials in Berks County have identified the woman killed in a house fire in Alsace Township on Wednesday, Jan. 25.  First responders were called to the 100 block of Magnolia Lane just after 4:30 a.m. and found "heavy fire" on arrival, according to a statement by State Police. A woman was found dead inside, authorities said at the time.  The victim is now identified as 71-year-old Dana Oakes, who lived at the residence. Coroner IDs 2 Killed In I-78 Crash Authorities have identified the two men killed in a Monday morning dump truck crash that closed down stretches of Route 78 in Berks and Lehigh counties. Donald T. Gercie, 63, was driving a dump truck that hit an overpass in the eastbound lanes and rolled over near milepost 48.0 in Upper Macungie just after 9:50 a.m., the Coroner’s Officer said. Gercie, of Alpha, NJ, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries just before 12:25 p.m. The manner of death was accidental. Gercie’s passenger, Joel A.
