Duo Dumped Chemicals On Berks Walmart Floor, Police Say Two men are wanted by police after authorities say they dumped chemical liquids on the floor of a Berks County Walmart.  The pair walked into the Tilden Ridge Drive store at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, said Tilden Township police in a statement.  Once inside, the suspects walked around the store gathering "chemical items to include but not limited to bleach and motor oil," then dumped the liquids "all over the floors" before leaving in a silver car, the department said.  The mess created a hazard for shoppers and employees, police said, but no injuries were reported.  Walmar…

Parked Driver Shot Dead In Reading, Police Say A man sitting in a parked car was shot dead in downtown Reading late on Wednesday, Jan. 18, authorities say.  The driver, 47, was parked near 398 Washington Street at about 7:30 p.m. when a gunman opened fire, Reading police said in a statement. The victim drove himself to a nearby parking garage, where first responders met him and rushed him to the hospital, they added.  The 47-year-old was placed in critical condition and later died from his wounds, the department said. Daylight Shooter Charged In Reading: Police The gunman who opened fire on a Reading street in broad daylight has been arrested, according to authorities.  Police say Angel Ramon Burgos-Ortiz, 44, was taken into custody Tuesday, Jan. 10 on charges of aggravated assault and related counts, city police said in a release. Investigators have accused Burgos-Ortiz of a non-fatal shooting on the 900 block of Penn Street at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2.  Officials are still investigating the incident.
