Kidnapping: NJ Girl, 11, Returned Home Safely From Delaware, Accused Abductor, 27, Seized An 11-year-old New Jersey girl was returned home safely after she was kidnapped in Wayne and taken to Delaware, authorities said. Darius Matylewich, 27, of Bear, DE. was captured on Sept. 10 after he took the girl earlier in the day from an undisclosed location near the confluence of Routes 46, 80 and 23 without her parents’ knowledge, they said. Bear Struck Dead On US Rt. 15 In PA: Authorities (Photos) A bear was killed when a pick-up truck hit it on US Route 15 in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, authorities say.  A white pick-up truck hit the bear crossing Rt. 15 north a little after 10 a.m. on July 26, 2023, according to the Barlow Volunteer Fire Department. The crash happened near Gettysburg at mile marker 7.2, according to the department.  Company 22 and Mutual Aid responded to the call to the scene.  The driver was unharmed.  This is the second crash involving a bear on a Pennsylvania highway that Daily Voice has reported on in less than 24 hours. Be Aware Of The Bear, Say Authorities In Bucks County A bear has been spotted in lower Bucks County, and authorities are warning residents to take precautions.  The "very small, very young bear" was sighted near the Delaware Canal in Yardley Borough, police said in a statement on Wednesday, June 7.  "This is his first year away from his mom and he is slightly displaced," authorities explained.  The Pennsylvania Game Commission is recommending residents bring inside any bird feeders or other outdoor food sources.
