Services Set For Wyncote Rapper YNG Cheese Killed In Philadelphia Shooting Services have been set for YNG Cheese, the 25-year-old Philadelphia rapper killed in a triple shooting last week. YNG Cheese, whose real name is Devin Spady and whose father is hip-hop artist Gillie Da King, formerly Gillie Da Kid, died when he was shot in the back on the 5800 block of Mascher Street in Olney, on Thursday, July 20, Philadelphia police said. Spady was taken to Einstein Hospital by police, where he died at 8:39 p.m.  A 28-year-old man was shot twice in the right leg, and a 31-year-old man was shot to the left hip. Rapper Gillie Da Kid's Son YNG Cheese Killed In Philly Shooting: Police YNG Cheese, a 25-year-old rapper and son of Philadelphia musician Gillie Da Kid, was shot and killed on an Olney street late on Thursday, July 20, according to multiple reports and city police.   It happened on the 5800 block of Mascher Street around 8:30 p.m., the department told Daily Voice.
