Authorities say one of the suspects walked into Royal Meats, 1619 Wadsworth Ave., on Feb. 24 and fell to the ground, "acted as if he was incapacitated."

When the cashier went around the counter to help him, the other suspect ran to the register and stole the money, according to investigators. He fled the store and pepper sprayed a worker who tried to stop him, police said.

The "injured" suspect also fled before police arrived, authorities said.

Security video from outside the shop showed both suspects speaking shortly before the robbery, according to detectives.

  • Suspect one is described as a black man between 30 and 40 wearing a gray and black jacket and a green Eagles hat with a black brim.
  • Suspect two is described as a white man between 30 and 40 wearing a black “True Religion” sweatshirt with a black baseball hat and blue jeans.
