'Marathon' Storm Threatens NJ, PA With Freezing Rain A "marathon" storm is slowly moving into New Jersey and Pennsylvania, threatening some areas with freezing rain and dense fog. "The storm is a marathon, not a sprint," AccuWeather Senior On-Air Meteorologist Justin Povick said of the 48-hour storm that began Wednesday in the central part of the US.
