A multi-agency investigation in Mercer County led to the seizure of 700 grams of cocaine and the arrest of two men from Trenton and Bucks County, PA, authorities said. Officer Shot Responding To Domestic Incident In NJ
A police officer was shot in Mercer County while responding to a domestic incident, authorities said. Hamilton officers were called to a disturbance on the 1800 block of Orchard Avenue around 2:20 a.m. when the gunman opened fire on the officers, the department said. The injured officer was taken to CHS-Fuld and is expected to survive. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office and the New Jersey Attorney General's Office are investigating this incident.

A skull fished out of the Delaware River nearly 40 years ago has been identified as belonging to a missing New Jersey man, authorities revealed Monday, Jan. 30. Richard Thomas Alt, a 31-year-old Trenton man, was last seen by loved ones on Christmas Eve in 1984, said Bucks District Attorney Matthew Weintraub in a statement. Three men were arrested after a raid of a Trenton home found $70,000 worth of drugs and $23,000 in cash, authorities said.
