Lehigh Valley Man Vanished Without A Trace More Than 40 Years Ago, PSP Says Ryan Jan Kemp has been missing since September 1981, but state police still believe his case can be solved.  Kemp, 30 years old at the time he vanished, was last seen grabbing lunch at the IGA grocery store on Route 873 in Neffs, according to authorities and archival reports from the Allentown Morning Call. Feds: Allentown Man Charged For Hiring Hitman To Kill Ex-GF, Tried To Arrange More Murders After being charged with hiring a hitman to kill his ex-girlfriend, a Lehigh County man was newly charged with attempting to arrange the murders of two more people, authorities said. Dominic Luis Escalera, 37, allegedly traveled to Newark, NJ from Jan. 28 to Feb. 17 to organize the murders of two Allentown residents described in federal documents as M.R and A.R, according to Acting United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams.
