Lehigh Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In South Whitehall A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Lehigh County Thursday night, authorities said. Barry Evans, 30, was struck around 8:55 p.m. in 1400 Block of North Cedar Crest Boulevard in South Whitehall, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The Coplay resident was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Jack Fliter at 9:24 p.m., authorities said. Cedar Crest Boulevard was temporarily closed in both directions in the 1600 block from Office Center Road to Winchester Road as officers investigated the scene, South Whitehall police said.
